After a brief photo stop at the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos (“Al Husn Palace “, not publicly accessible), take a walk through the still remaining, old Haffah Souk, famous for the sale of high quality frankincense and many other souvenirs like colorful clay incense burners with traditional patterns. Here you get a lot of information on the use of frankincense and its special features.

Next, drive to the Museum of the frankincense land, which is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Al Baleed”. Here you will visit the museum, which is the latest addition to the heritage of Oman and the cultural scene.
